I just realized something. Before we decide what our leaders will be we have our decide our positions. As you know, our current leaders are supposedly
Zacopolis and The Grand Duchy. However, this is being disputed between some nations in our alliance and others believe leadership should be decided by strength.
Anyhow, here are the current positions I have heard of or been suggested to create:
President
Vice President
Chief Treasurer
Head of Miscellaneous Tasks
I also have some ideas such as Commander in Chief, Tech Manager, and Head Judiciary Officers.
If you have anymore ideas please comment.
How would these positions be decided? Majority vote? How would the votes be decided? By strength, seniority, or 1:1 (one nation, one vote)?
ReplyDeleteWho could run? Anyone, top # (top 10, top 3, etc.), primaries (vote for candidates)? Would there be political parties, or just a simple election?
These are very general in my opinion. What would the roles of President and Vice President be? What classifies as a Miscellaneous task?
While I realize these are all just the very first basic steps, and the whole thing is a WIP, there needs to be a lot of fleshing out done on the whole matter.
There should be committees established to help with this work; one committee for one goal (a committee to decide the whole voting system, a committee to decide the roles, etc.).

I agree with you on this issue. I simply started this post to introduce the topic. Currently, I posted some general ideas that were suggested to me by various members. Now it is up to us to start discussion and organize this chaos. :)

ReplyDeleteI agree with tim. Also, the system we should have is that we elect the pres. and VP and the president appoints the Chief Treasurer with approval of the VP and Chief of Mis. Tasks
